Frequently Asked Questions:
How much do we cook versus the Chefs cook? If you opt for collaborative you cook all 3 or 4 courses, if you opt for competitive or chopped you do one course as the competition and our chefs make the other 2 or 3 courses.
Is wine served the whole time? Yes, if you want that. Most groups opt for drinks during cooking and then continue that into the meal portion, either with wine pairings or by continuing to order a la cart.
Can each person choose if they want wine pairings when they arrive or do we have to prebook? No, we need to know at booking and it’s an add on everyone needs to partake in. If some guests don’t wants wine I recommend doing beverages a la cart and people can choose what works for them. We have wine by the glass or the bottle, many beers and non alcoholic drinks.
How long is the experience? 2.5 hours for a 3 courses event, 3 hours for a 4 course event.
Accommodations for vegetarian? Yes, and every other dietary restriction you have on the team. We ask for a list of all dietary restrictions or aversions when you choose your menu and then we tweak dishes as needed for those guests. Vegetarians might have a swapped out protein or in some cases an entirely different dish (if they for example can’t have meat or dairy or gluten and dislike beans we would make them something that worked for all those needs).
How it works (steps to booking):
Step 1: Reach out to us via our Event Request Form. We’ll get back to you with an estimate for your event and the forms to secure your date.
Step 2: Fill out the Event Booking Form (sent over with your estimate) and wait for our confirmation. You’re now booked and ready to go!
Step 3: Gather your groups dietary restrictions and select your menu. We’ll need this info along with your final headcount 1 week before your event. Don’t worry- we’ll reach out to you when we need it.
Step 4: Show up, pick a fun apron and enjoy!

Our menus are created with a seasonal, local focus in mind. We work with Greenleaf a local produce company to provide high quality seasonal produce, cheeses and specialty ingredients. Menus change quarterly and are always a suggestion of the freshest dishes of the season.
If you have guests with dietary restrictions (vegan, gluten free, vegetarian, pescatarian, etc) we always are able to accommodate all needs with modifications to those folks dishes. If you have a specific idea for a dish or entree tell us! We’ll be happy to work together to try to make all your needs met. Many groups pick dishes not listed on our seasonal suggested menu, if you aren’t “digging” any of the entrees, give us your feedback during menu selection and we’ll send over some other options that would work.

Types of Events:
Collaborative Format- You choose 3 or 4 courses from the seasonal menu and learn to make them altogether. The group then sits down to enjoy them, plated at the table. Many groups order beverages a la cart and/or opt for wine pairing.
Competitive Format- You choose one course (from our appetizer or dessert challenges menu) to do as a competition, we break you into groups and compete to make the best version of that dish. Maybe it's a Molten Lava Cake Challenge or Flatbread Challenge, teams decide what ingredients to use (with some help from our chefs) and execute the dish by working together. Our chefs judge and decide a winner (with great fanfare), and our chefs prepare the other 2 or 3 courses to make a full meal and the group enjoys all the courses seated at our table. Many groups order beverages a la cart and/or opt for wine pairing.
Chopped Format- You choose either an appetizer or dessert chopped basket, teams open the basket and have a set amount of time to take those ingredients and create an appetizer or dessert (we will have decided which ahead of time). Teams have access to other ingredients to help differentiate their dish and make it more them…but all ingredients in the basket must be used. Our chefs judge and decide a winner (with great fanfare). Our chefs prepare the other 2 or 3 courses to make a full meal and the group enjoys all the courses seated at our table. Many groups order beverages a la cart and/or opt for wine pairing.
